Medical Billing
At MohsPros Billing, we realize that every dollar we earn for our partners is of mutual benefit. Submitting claims is not difficult, however, submitting them correctly is critical to your revenue stream. It’s not enough to just have good scrubbing software. You need a partner with comprehensive knowledge of the codes’ modifiers and global periods to properly process your claims.
MOHSPROS BILLING
Dermatology coding and billing can be difficult to navigate. In addition to the ever-changing Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes and modifiers, the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) compliance further complicates the process. At MohsPros Billing, our Dermatology Specific Coders are trained to the most current industry standards. With our balanced billing approach, we find the dollars that other companies would miss.
As dermatology medical billing experts, we are knowledgeable about:
Dermatology procedures and terminology
Global periods
Particular requirements of each of the payers
Why dermatology claims are denied
Nuanced rules used to judge claims by insurance companies
Utilizing state-of-the-art software and fully trained Dermatology Specific Coders, MohsPros Billing is designed to meet the needs of our partners. Our years of experience have taught us the best methods to collect on all claims – even the tough ones that other billing companies would’ve given up on.
OUR SOFTWARE
MohsPros Billing is proficient in the variety of medical practice management software available. Here, we have two types of software. The first type uses different add-on software that is patched together, shares different data tables, and is often created in differing development platforms.
The second type, which is our personal recommendation, is essentially a ground-up development model. It shares all of the patient-related medical information in one seamless data base, thereby minimizing any errors when updating a file or adjusting payments. This synergistic approach actually circumvents the inherent problems seen in the multiple software method.
We also recommend using EZderm, which is a management software specifically designed for dermatology practices. EZderm links us with our clients and provides various services from appointment scheduling, inter-office communication, patient data, and detailed practice analysis reports. With that being said, we can also work with any medical management software.
